ABOUT ME:

"Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world" (Nelson Mandela).

Hello!  My name is Latesha Sigur.  I have been teaching secondary English for the last fifteen years. My passion is teaching literature appreciation as well as written expression. In my classes students will be exposed to a variety of text from all different genres. This will ultimately assist them in meeting the Common Core standards. They will be given in depth time to critically think about each piece. The goal is to assist students in their reading and writing skills so they are prepared for their future as artists or whatever they desire.

This year my office hours are during the first block of school and by appointment.
